Neem (Azadirachta indica) is a very much essential herb as far as health benefits are concerned. It has multiple benefits in keeping beauty and glamour. Neem oil is being prepared from the leaves, fruits and barks with utilizing the extract of it.

Preparation of Neem Oil
Wash neem leaves twice with clean water. Grind these leaves in a mixer with about 50 – 100 millilitres of water. Put coconut oil and neem paste in a thick bottom pan and keep it on low heat for 4-5 minutes let it cook.
When all the crushed leaves are mixed well with the oil, stop cooking and let the mixture to become cool.
Now sieve it carefully with a cloth. Neem oil is ready.
Benefits of Neem Oil
(i) Neem oil prevents infection
Neem has natural antiseptic properties that protect the skin from infection. Wash the infected area thoroughly with antiseptic soap and apply some drops of neem oil there. You will be benefited greatly from this.
(ii) Neem oil prevents signs of ageing
The antioxidants in neem oil prevent signs of ageing and keep the skin young. Massage the face and neck with neem oil twice a week for 10-15 minutes to prevent signs of aging. By doing this regularly, your skin will not get old quickly and you will look younger.
(iii) Neem oil enhances skin beauty
Neem oil contains sufficient amount of vitamin E and fatty acids which enhances the beauty of our skin. Apply neem oil on the whole body. Your skin will become very soft and beautiful by following this method.

(iv) Use neem oil to get rid of acne
Anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents found in neem extract help in reducing pimples. The anti-bacterial properties found in neem kills acne-causing bacteria on the skin. Applying neem oil on pimples also reduces redness and swelling of pimples.
(v) Neem oil is an effective anti-fungal agent
Neem oil is also an effective anti-fungal agent. Apply a few drops of neem oil on the toes, ankles, hands regularly. Your skin will be protected from fungal infections by applying neem oil. If you already have fungal infection on your skin, first clean the area with an antiseptic soap, and then apply neem oil there. You will get rid of fungal infection soon. Neem oil is also helpful in curing other skin diseases or infections, such as ringworm, fungus in ear hole, etc.
(vi) Neem oil relieves dandruff
We all are troubled by dandruff. Dandruff causes many problems such as scalp itching, hair loss etc. To get rid of dandruff, add a few drops of neem oil to your hair oil and apply this to your hair twice in a week. Applying this method regularly will not allow dandruff in your hair and you will get rid of dandruff completely.
(vii) Neem oil prevents untimely white hair
Neem oil also prevents the hair becoming white before the time. Mix neem oil with Indian gooseberry and apply it on the hair. Wash your hair with shampoo in the morning. Use it twice in a week. Your hair will not turn white before time.

(viii) Neem oil prevents hair fall
You have to put 2-4 drops of neem oil in both the nostrils regularly for a month. Also apply the oil in your scalp. By doing this, hair loss stops and the hair becomes strong and thick.
