Tech researchers have made an attractive, powerful, low-priced microcomputer named Raspberry Pi3. It is a usable desktop computer with quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 1.2 GHz processor, built-in 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. Cost of this microcomputer is just $35 or £30 which can undesirably boost Google Glass devices off local WiFi networks. This Pi 3 is approximately 50% faster than the previous Pi 2. RAM remains the same as the older version like 1GB of LPDDR2-900 SDRAM. The graphics capabilities include VideoCore IV GPU which was also in the previous version.

Claire Doyle, the global head of Raspberry Pi for Element14 told that she liked the remote controlled Lego crocodile made with Raspberry Pi mostly, and she was overwhelmed by seeing a 5 year old child writing codes to move his favourite Lego crocodile.

This is an extremely extraordinary year for the Raspberry Pi organization. Since the organization was established on 29th February 2012 – the 28th February, 2016 is technically their first birthday. Celebrations are all together and another model of the Raspberry Pi has been reported.

The Pi 3 is precisely what anybody would anticipate from the most recent Raspberry Pi, although it doesn’t have SATA or USB C or a PCIe connector. The objective of the Raspberry Pi Foundation has dependably been to deliver low-priced PC for everybody, and including these ports would just drive up the cost. Rather than satisfying the users who need power, the Pi Foundation has done their best to please everybody. Like the Raspberry Pi 2 from toward the end of last year, the Raspberry Pi 3 highlights another CPU, a ‘Broadcom BCM2837 quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex A53’ running at 1.2 GHz.

While the most newsworthy ‘pre-launch’ news leak encompassing the Raspberry Pi 3 is the additional ‘wireless functionality’, and the huge news is the updated CPU. With the Cortex A53, the Pi 3 has gone through a limit. The Raspberry Pi is not only a board that is utilized to play retro computer games in emulators any longer. It is no more kept to limitation as a set-top box, but the Pi 3 is a genuine computer.

Claire Doyle told that a huge number of customers throughout the world had been plugging a growing amount of accessories into the Pi 2, so they required more power to utilize those external USB devices. People would not require added electrical energy to power WiFi or Bluetooth LE dongles, since those components are currently embedded into the microcomputer. Due to those features it is easier to connect Pi 3 to the web or other computers. Doyle said that the connectivity was completely stunning on this board. She also told that these two features like WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity along with a price of $35, made this microcomputer more magnificent.

Element14, an official partner of Raspberry Pi, is the leading manufacturer and wholesaler of these low-priced computers. As per the recent statistics, Element14 has sold more than 5 million Raspberry Pi devices.
