Hurricane Cristobal gradually acquires its strength with a loss of four people in the Caribbean. Its movement is toward the holiday paradise of Bermuda from Tuesday, said meteorologists. As an effect of the storm, some areas like the Bahamas, Turks, Caicos Islands, Dominican Republic may be flooded with loss of life. By Monday evening, the hurricane was centred roughly 660 miles southwest of Bermuda and was tracking east at 2 mph, the National Hurricane Center said.
This hurricane is approaching with a speed of 120 kilometres per hour towards the Bermuda area, according to the report of National Hurricane Center of Miami. They said that the centre of the Cristobal Hurricane is expected to pass North-West of Bermuda between Wednesday and Wednesday night.

The National Hurricane Center of Miami also said, “Swells generated by Cristobal are affecting portions of the United States coast from central Florida northward to North Carolina and will spread northwards later this week.”
National forecasters have already started to watch the hurricane which means inclement conditions were possible in the next 24 hours because the storm is a category one hurricane and it is the third hurricane in this Atlantic storm season. It came after Hurricane Marie, which had the highest category of destructive power.
