Matteo Manassero is of the opinion that the next generation of Golf Stars will be more younger as a trend showing. This sport has now been a place of young aspirants. A number of young players entered in the game previously, like Judy Rankin, who made her entry in 1959 U.S. Women’s Open when she was 14 years old. Lucy Li was one of them who qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open at the age of 11 years.
In the men’s game also this trend is going on. Guan Tianlang from china appeared at the 2013 Masters when he was 14 years. Similarly, Jordan Spieth of America won the tournament in April when he was 20 years old.
Matteo Manassero, a seasoned player of recent tournaments, is of the opinion that these younger players are matured enough than their age and the players who are seasoned and currently playing in the circuit are facing more and more younger opponent in the field. Teenagers are competing with their idols without any pressure, with full of confidence and mixing their performance with power too.
Matteo Manassero, who is Italian professional golfer now, holds the record of being most successful teenager in the history of European Tour after winning one tournament. He won the Castello Masters in 2010 when he was 17 years and 188 days old, even when he did not know driving also. He won 3 more European Tournament — BMW PGA Championship of 2013 was one of them.
