The Chief Justice DY Chandrachud of the Supreme Court has ordered the removal of two cases related to the appointment of Justice Abhijit Ganguly from the bench regarding the TV interview debate. News of protest marches started coming from various places across the state, starting from job seekers and ordinary people on Friday afternoon.

Demanding a speedy resolution in the recruitment case, the leftists protested on Saturday morning from the Durgapur station bus stand with Justice Ganguly’s photo. The rally started from the party office near the Durgapur station bus stand and went up to Bankura junction and returned to the station bus stand.
