Apple and Samsung are in a scuffle for the last three years and their legal war costing more than a billion dollars with spreading out to four continents. On Wednesday a Californian Judge rejected Apple’s appeal to ban permanently some of the models of Samsung Smart phones.
According to the court, Apple’s allegation was against some specific features on 9 Samsung smartphones, which was a patent-infringement. If Apple could win in this legal tug-off-war, the South Korean Company could have been faced a huge loss to alter their smartphone features.
After this verdict of the Californian Judge, this multiyear multinational battle seems to cool down. Although, Apple withdrew its appeal of the 2012 case in the month of July saying their profit and iPhone sales remained unaffected in spite of patent infringement by Samsung. Both Apple and Samsung also agreed to withdraw patent disputes against each other earlier this month.
