Astrological analysis of the life of former President of India, Pranab Kumar Mukherjee – his achievements and failures due to several periods of planets and their positions with the Nakshatras.
After fighting for last three weeks in cerebral attack followed by operation at Army Hospital, New Delhi, due to severe coma, our beloved Pranab Mukherjee breathed his last on August 31, 2020, with COVID-19 infection. His body was cremated on September 01, 2020, with full national Honour at Lodhi Estate crematorium, New Delhi.
Now, coming to the sojourn of his life, we observe that he had to attend the school at his birthplace Kirnahar and College at Suri, Birbhum and then to Calcutta University for completing the MA degree in Political Science and History. He joined at Howrah as a teacher and after that, he resumed his career as a Lecturer in a south Kolkata based College.
His Father Kamada Kinkar Mukherjee was a Congressman and freedom fighter. In the year 1967, Sri Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee formed the new party named ‘Bangla Congress’ and after contesting in the West Bengal State Assembly Election, he became the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Shri Pranab Kumar Mukherjee was elected as MP, Rajya Sabha from Bangla Congress in 1969.
As Pranab Mukherjee was a learned gentleman, he came into the vision of the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. As his participation in the debate on bank nationalisation was touched the mind of Prime Minister. When Bangla Congress was merged with Indian National Congress in 1972, Pranab Mukherjee was given the ministry of Commerce and then in Finance and Banking during 1975 and development of Gramin Banks started to provide the agricultural loan to farmers of the country for which Banking service Recruitment Board was formed to recruit the staff of banks.

He has elected five consecutive terms as MP, Rajya Sabha and then Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission and again Cabinet Minister in Finance, Defence, External Affairs, etc. After winning the Loksabha election in 2004, 2009 from Jangipur he became the leader of Lok Sabha.
He was always a ‘Crisis Manager’ of Congress who used to guide the leaders frequently in the hour of need. He used to perform Puja daily with uttering of ‘Chandi’ mantras for an hour after having a bath. He used to perform ‘Durga Puja’ at Kirnahar every year.
He left the congress from 1985 to 1989 and formed a new party due to hot talks with Rajiv Gandhi. He was not placed as a minister in Narasimha Rao prime ministership although the list was prepared by Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
He was shocked when Congress President, Sonia Gandhi uttered the name of Dr Manmohan Singh as Prime minister instead of him. He became the second man as Finance minister. He used to give aid and advice to Dr Manmohan Singh.

From the horoscope of Shri Pranab Mukherjee, it is observed that onwards birth he was passing the Vimsottari period of Rahu as he was born in Gemini (Mithun) Moon Sign/Rasi and Ardra Constellation/Nakshatra. During his birth, the balance of the Rahu period was for 15 years 3 months 22 days that is up to 03-04-1951.
Rahu made his career as Lecturer with effect from 1963-64. He joined ‘Bangla Congress’ in 1967 in the period of Jupiter and became MP, Rajya Sabha in 1969. During the period of Saturn, his political career expanded due to attachment with the Prime Minister, Smt Indira Gandhi. He became the Industry and Commerce Minister in 1972 when Saturn-Mercury period was running.
He became the Banking and Finance minister in Saturn-Venus period. He was running Saturn period up to 03-04-1986 (Saturn and Jupiter period was not good) as the bitter relationship with Rajiv Gandhi since October 1984 for about three years. As a result of that, he left Congress and came back again.
I have forecasted that Sri Pranab Mukherjee will win the Presidential election in July 2012 by defeating the rival Sri Purna Ajitek Sangma with a margin of 69 to 71 per cent of the vote which was published in the reputed journal ‘Agam Jyotish’ of Naihati, Edited by Shri Subir Kumar Bose, on the April 2012 issue. He was sworn in as 13th President of India on 25th July 2012 for five years term which was ended in 2017.
