Liverpool put in a beautiful 4-0 win over Crystal Palace here late Wednesday night to put on a fine display of aggressive and dominant play, bringing them closer to winning the English Premier League (EPL) title for the first time in 30 years.
Liverpool will become champions if Manchester City fails to beat Chelsea in their next match. Liverpool has to face second-placed City next on Thursday. Liverpool last won the league title in 1990. Liverpool’s dominance against Palace began with Trent Alexander Arnold scoring the first goal in the 23rd minute.
Muhammad Salah scored the second goal in the 44th minute to keep his team ahead 2-0 till the first half. Fabiano scored the third goal in the 55th minute while Sadio Mane scored the fourth goal in the 69th minute. In this way, Liverpool continued their victory campaign at home this season. It has won all the 16 league matches at home.

In other league matches, Manchester United beat Sheffield United 3-0, Everton beat Novak City 1-0 and the Wolves beat Bournemouth by the same margin. The match between Newcastle and Aston Villa ended in a 1-1 draw.
Sergio Ramos’ superb free-kick helped Real Madrid beat Real Mallorca 2-0 to put themselves back in the exciting match to the top with Barcelona in the Spanish Football League La Liga. With the victory in this match played at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, Real Madrid also acquired 68 points in 31 matches similar to Barcelona, but due to the better goal difference, it has reached the top.
Mallorca remains 18th in the table. Vinicius Jr, 19 years, gave Madrid the lead with a goal in the 19th minute but it was Ramos who scored a beautiful goal on a free kick in the 56th minute.
