The report is made by a creative agency in the UK and a social media firm in Canada. The extensive popularity of social media and engagement in the Philippines has been observed for five consecutive years. That is the reason, the Philippines is called the ‘Social Media Capital of the World’.
The report says that the people of the Philippines usually spend 4 hours a day on the internet – especially on social media websites like Facebook, Instagram and other platforms. It indicates that Filipinos and Filipinas are very fond of chatting with their friends or sharing their feeds, photos, videos, memories and various links on social media platforms.
